Hello and welcome to the parent homepage. This page is designed to help parents assist their students with their homework, finding their assignments, checking grades, and basic research help. There is also a tab for games, which are all age appropriate.

Study Island

    Study Island is used in many of the content classes. From this link you will be able to access Math and the ELA modules for Study Island.

Library Mission Statement

The library  will empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users and creators of information through direct instruction with students, collaboration with staff.


    Middle School

      From this link you can find your students teachers. Just click on your student's teachers name and you will be taken to their homepage.

      From the homepage students and parents can see upcoming events, access email and the Z Drive.



    The picture above is where your student needs to go to view their grades and homework assignments. The username is the year your student graduates, last name, first name. An example is 22bastiangavin. The password is your students ID number and the Pin is a five digit number your student was given on the first day of school. If you have any questions or problems logging on please contact the office or call/email the library and we will be glad to assist you. Click on Sapphire to be taken to the logon page.


      Standardized Tests

      All students at SAMS will take the GRADE test three times each school year. The GRADE test is a diagnostic test designed to measure your student's academic growth. All students at SAMS also take the CDT"s for Science, Math, and ELA. These tests are again used to measure your students growth in various academic areas and help teachers improve instruction for your student. At the end of the school year all students will take the PSSA's in Reading and Math. The results of these tests will be sent to you in the mail.
